IDA

a little waterfall IDA is a communal farm filled with queers; men, wimmin and trannies. We are located on 243 acres in the hollows of middle Tennessee. We have extensive gardens that grow fruit, veggies, herbs and flowers. Our residents like to
sing, play music, act, make circus,
create fine art, mail art, write, garden and participate in many other activities too numerous to mention. We like having folks come visit (if they contact us and let us know a little about themselves. Just so we know who's coming), and welcome visitors at any time of the year. Some prefer to come when it's quiet and there are few other visitors. Some like it better when we're having an event like Ms. Ida P's Fruit Jam, our annual queer music festival.

our creekbridge to heaven A Stroll around IDA may find you walking through the creek bed with the dogs at your (high) heels or hiking a hillside, digging into a garden project, catching a music session in the woods or enjoying the wildflowers. You may cross over a homemade bridge to a remote part of the place. Just when you think you're all alone in the world you round a corner and find yourself looking at some hidden art project or bonfire pit.
